Biography
Alyssa Towns is a freelance writer who believes in the power of words to transform, inspire, and educate. She partners with organizations and brands to create thoughtful, creative content that builds better workplaces and empowers the people who shape them. Her passion for communication started early — from editing her family’s “critical emails” to crafting blogs for fun — and grew into a career focused on productivity, internal communications, and change management. Alyssa’s work is grounded in a simple truth: since we spend much of our lives at work, those hours should feel meaningful, balanced, and human. She’s also the voice behind Time Intentional, her personal project and newsletter that reflects on living with presence and purpose, inspired by her late grandparents and the reminder that time is a resource we can’t get back.
Education
Alyssa earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, graduating summa cum laude with a 3.97 GPA in 2016.
Experience:
Alyssa has built her career at the intersection of communication and workplace culture. She began in corporate roles supporting executives, leading company-wide events, and driving change management initiatives — even boosting her company’s communications score by 23.5% in under a year.
