I'm worried about AI giving wrong safety advice.

That's exactly why we built on RAG technology. Speakap's AI doesn't use the open internet. It only pulls from your verified internal knowledge resources. If it can't give a high-certainty answer, it loops in a human.

We don't allow personal phones on the floor / we're concerned about off-the-clock labor laws.

There are two ways we handle this. First, Speakap tracks time spent in the app down to the minute per employee ID, so if your workers access it on their personal device, payroll can retrieve that data and compensate them accurately. Second, if personal devices aren't an option at all, Speakap runs on company-owned tablets deployed via MDM (Mobile Device Management), fixed at workstations or in break areas, so the assistant is always accessible without touching anyone's personal phone.
